Metropolitan Tavern presents: Yacht Rock Sundays on the rooftop patio! 

Bringing the beach to the rooftop patio is our new summer tradition. Every Sunday in August and September, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, our rooftop patio comes alive with yacht rock favorites from DJ Vinnie Toma, refreshing frozen slushies, delicious grilled skewer specials, and more! Soak up the sunshine, sip on your favorite cocktail, and take in the best rooftop views in Portland while enjoying the laid-back energy of a beach getaway right in the heart of the city. Grab your friends and make Sundays your favorite day of the week!

🍊 Negroni Week is back September 21–27, and Metropolitan Tavern is joining thousands of bars and restaurants around the world in raising a glass for a good cause. Since Negroni Week began in 2013, participating bars and restaurants have helped raise more than $5 million for charitable causes. We are thrilled to be a part of this once again! So from September 21–27, come grab a seat at Metropolitan Tavern, order a Negroni, and join us in drinking for something bigger than happy hour.

 The Winterhawks hockey 2026-2027 season is upon us, which means it’s officially time to dust off the jerseys, round up the crew, and make your way downtown. And lucky for you, Metropolitan Tavern is just a few blocks from Veterans Memorial Coliseum.  

Come hang with us before the puck drops for Happy Hour from 3–6 PM, then head to the game with just enough time to argue about who’s actually the biggest Hawks fan. And when the final horn sounds? We’ll be here for Happy Hour from 9 PM–close, too.
